Yes, I know I should have probably opened with “Thank You” but the thing is, you’re about to have an absolutely AWESOME experience!! Now let me share something with you, I’ve spoken all over the nation, and I’ve had the priveledge to be a social pundit for the BBC network and let me tell you that NONE OF THAT means anything when stacked against the workshops at Blackbird Fly.

And you’re about to have the same opportunity. What makes BBF so special is that if these young ladies are here, it’s because they actually WANT to be here. They are so hungry for information, and they absorb every iota of your knowledge. You’ll feel as if your load has been lifted. You’ll feel as if you’ve achieved another plateau in purpose.

Tips for Facilitators
- DYNAMIC – We’re looking for hands on, interactive and engaging workshops. Lectures are ok, but we’d like you to be speaking WITH the attendees as opposed to AT them.
- TECH SPECS – Please let us know what, if anything, you’ll need to facilitate your workshop. (Do you need a projection screen, A microphone, Speakers, Monitor, Power outlets, ) This way we can accommodate your needs
- Q&A – Make time in your workshop for Questions and answers. There is nothing worse than someone giving a workshop that fails to speak to the specific issues of the attendees because the presenter failed to ask questions.
- Foundation and Framework – Some of us are naturally great speakers. Some of us can turn the most mundane conversation to full on CHURCH!! But to avoid an ‘off’ day, have some foundation and framework in place so your workshop has some cohesive structure. Of course there needs to be an organic element to your workshop, but there is a difference in going with the flow and being outright sloppy
- You’re on the Clock – Because we want to maximize the opportunities for our young ladies we are asking our facilitators to limit their workshops to 1 hour and no less than 30 minutes.
