After an exciting day at the BB FEST our registered attendees start getting prepared for a night fit for a Princess… The Blackbird Fly Gala Ball!

This is the night of nights, but the night of nights begins with a day full of excitement and fun. Our young ladies are treated to full makeovers from some of our long time supporters like the infamous “TeeTee B. Like” who volunteers EVERY YEAR to do all the young ladies hair for free!

The attendees of the BBF Gala Ball begin this incredible experience weeks before the actual day of the ball. Up to the very weekend of Blackbird Fly, our young ladies are fitted with gowns and shoes and other donated items from our extensive list of supporters. Some of our young ladies get to wear hand made dresses from some of our Dove Donors. And this year QPDOLL Accessoires has created a very special BBF Charm Bracelet that our donors and sponsors can buy to support the BBFLY event. What’s more exciting is as the weeks close in to the actual event MORE and MORE exciting gifts and treats become available so keep your eye’s peeled for more updates.

 

Our young men are treated to Haircuts and shape ups by our community partners like Next Level and ADG as they prepare their tuxedos and get ready to escort the beautiful ladies of BBF.

But don’t confuse this ball for some sort of tea and crumpets stuffed shirt event. After the formalities are finished. and the speakers have spoke, DJ Flyygrl plays the tracks and the entire room turns into the biggest party of the year. A party you do NOT want to miss.

We end the night with our Blackbird Fly Ceremony. This is a touching moment that helps us remember the deeper meaning behind this entire weekends events. We won’t tell you how it goes down .. you’re just going to have to be there for it.
